Gentle Yoga For Hips, Back & Core: 8-Week Series is a small group workshop style class designed to deepen your understanding of basic anatomy and the relationship between the upper and lower body, the core and pelvic floor as well as posture.
Although we’ll focus on the hips, back, and core, this series encompasses a balanced, whole body approach. We’ll explore restorative yoga poses, mindful movement sequences, and breathing exercises to ultimately restore function and enhance overall health and well-being.
You will:
- learn exercises and mind-body practices to ease chronic tension and stiffness and build supple strength
- improve core connection and body and posture awareness
- learn how to identify breathing and movement habits that inhibit deep core function and contribute to poor posture, stress, and nagging aches
- take away tips to help you move with greater ease so you continue to do the activities you enjoy as you age
The small group format allows you an opportunity to ask questions and learn personalized modifications specific to your body.No yoga experience is required. This class is for all levels.
